This 1/32 scale slot car is RTR (Ready to Race) with loads of sought after features. Equipped with an Anglewinder 21,500 RPM motor it has the speed to match its looks! For those who like to tune their cars, this chassis supports a variety of tuning capabilities from spring suspension to adjustable front and rear ride-height.
The infamous Gordon Murray designed McLaren F1 GTR. Overall winner of the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans with an interesting backstory!
In 1995, Mr. Motokazu Sayama owner of Ueno Clinic reached out to McLaren wanting to sponsor one of their six cars for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. However McLaren’s existing six cars were already sponsored. With no other operating GTR’s available and only weeks before the race; McLaren scrambled to turn their first test prototype car (01R) into a race ready machine and the rest was history. The No.59 Ueno Clinic car won overall in a very wet and rainy Le Mans even beating prototypes in a higher category.
