1991 Mazda 787B No.55 Le Mans Winner – ‘Champions Edition’
In 1991 the Mazda 787B became the only Japanese car ever to win the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans race, and the only rotary powered car to do so. Now 20 years later we celebrate that victory with the first of our Champions Edition cars – the No.55 Mazda Renown 787B.
This Mazda 787B is an analog RTR (Ready to Race) 1/32 scale slot car. Painted with the classic No.55 Renown Mazda livery from the 1991 Le Mans winning car! Weighing in at a total of 80 grams, the car is equipped with a 22,000 RPM motor and 110 grams of downforce (traction magnet); the 787B is ready to go racing straight out of the box! For those who like to tune their cars, this chassis supports a variety of tuning capabilities from spring suspension to adjustable front and rear ride-height.
