BMW M1 Procar “No.201”, Nürburgring 1000km 1980
The legendary 1000km race was held at the Nürburgring in 1980 and the BMW M1 Procar with the number 201 was also part of the action. The drivers, Hans Stuck and Nelson Piquet, pushed the car to its limits. On top of its amazing speed, what makes this car so special is the livery. It shows the whole Nürburgring circuit, once described by former British Formula 1 drivers Sir John Young and Jackie Stewart as “Green Hell” – a name it has kept to this day.
The Nordschleife circuit is considered to be one of the toughest tracks in the world, demanding the perfect interplay of man and machine. The BMW M1 Procar “No.201”, Nürburgring 1000km, 1980 is equipped with headlights, rear and brake lights, and turns heads with its faithful reproduction of original details. The Carrera car can be individually coded, it’s digitally controllable and can also be used with analogue systems (Carrera Exclusiv). Enjoy authentic motor racing emotions at home. 1:24 scale
