BMW 3.5 CSL “No.5”, 6h Watkins Glen 1979
The BMW E9 was manufactured from 1968 to 1975 and was based on the predecessor models 2000 C and 2000 CS. Originally the E9 was built only as a 3.0 CSL, but went in the brand world championship in the 70s but with 3.5 liter displacement at the start. BMW won three races in the 1976 World Championship with the 3.5 CSL. At the 6-hour race in Watkings Glen in 1979, the model with start number 5 finished in 10th place. 1:32 scale
